31 Days of Pink: October 4

The fourth day of our 31 Days of Pink partnership with essie cosmetics features a pastel button manicure, complete with 3-D pearls and hot pink accents. 

We started with a light purple base. We drew two, hot pink parallel lines in the center of each nail, then added mint dots on each side. Then, we topped it off with a shiny top coat. While the top coat was still wet, we applied self-adhesive pearls between the two lines

Hint: To avoid smudging polish, use a tweezer to pick up the pearls and place them on nails.

- A thin, sturdy paintbrush.

- Self-adhesive faux pearls from a crafts store
