4 New Products Bound for Cult Status

By Kaitlyn Dreyling / October 4, 2011

Whether in fashion or beauty, creating those "it" products is no easy feat. You can't really predict what the next Diorshow Mascara or L'Oreal Elnett may be, but I'm just going to say these four new launches have cult status potential.

Malin + Goetz Vitamin B5 Hand Treatment, $20

Some of us are lip balm junkies and others of us are hand cream addicts (and some of us are both!), and now you'll have a whole new reason to slather up when you need a hand-soothing fix. Sure, there are plenty of tubes on the market, but some leave us with too strong of a smell or a greasy film all over our palms. Malin + Goetz took their simple approach to formulating a nourishing cream made without pore clogging oils, waxes or silicones, so it easily absorbs into the skin. Plus, natural almond oil and vitamin B5 are the perfect skin conditioners for dried out cuticles and nails.

Oribe Aprés Beach Spray, $35
The Oribe line is almost of cult status itself, but this new can of amazingness is going to join the ranks of the already popular Dry Texturizing Spray. As the name suggests, this lovely bottle mists that perfect beachy texture that Gisele Bundchen made famous. While there are plenty of beach sprays out there already, Oribe's version leaves your strands glossy and moisturized, not dry, sticky and knotted. You'll want to grab a bottle for your own stash, because soon it's going to be what all the editorial and celebrity stylists will be swearing by.

SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF Gel, $152
The original Phloretin CF treatment is already a star product with numerous loyal fans and awards, but this new gel version bottles that same antioxidant technology in an easier-to-use formula. Whether you're a tried and true fan of the existing Phloretin CF serum, or you're looking to boost your antioxidant protection, this more user-friendly version will win your heart over once you see those dark spots start to fade, not to mention smoother, firmer skin with less fine lines and wrinkles.

Living Proof Restore, $28-42
Most of us have dry or damaged hair, and whether it's straight, curly, colored or frizzy, who doesn't want their not-so-gorgeous strands to be like virgin hair? The creators of No Frizz have just launched their latest collection consisting of a shampoo, conditioner and a treatment mask, which works to protect your hair and have it actually act like it did back in it's virgin, untouched state. Most hair products rely on oils and silicones to coat the hair, but Living Proof's patented ingredient creates a weightless barrier for your hair, so it can smooth out the cuticle, add shine, build strength and protect your hair from future damage.
