Get an unexpected phone call for a last minute meeting. Hit the brew button on my Keurig coffee maker with lightning speed.  Four cups ought to do it!

Pack for Las Vegas. I have one hour before I leave for JFK! An hour?! Then I need to fly back to NYC tomorrow for a talk show appearance to promote my new book, The 30-Day Heartbreak Cure: A Guide to Getting Over Him One Month From Today.

In my seat on the flight. It’s delayed due to snow. My seat mate has a fear of flying. Boy, is he sitting next to the right person. I have him happy and fear-free in a matter of minutes. Being a hypnotist comes in handy.

Check into the hotel and hit the shower. I need to come to life. According to my body clock, it’s 11:00 PM. Slather a tightening masque all over my face to wake up.

My eyes are still puffy from a long flight and lack of sleep. I order a pot of coffee and a bucket of ice for my eyes. Say what you will about Joan Crawford, but she knew how to get rid of the puffies.

I intend to mesmerize everyone, and for that, I need killer eyes and lips. I apply Cat Cosmetics Venus De My Glow all-over bronzer and Cat Cosmetics Rich lip gloss. Then I line my newly depuffed eyes with Cat Cosmetics Smolder to smoke up my eyes, add two coats of mascara and out the door I go.

In minutes, I’m smoked, glossed, and bronzed. I suddenly find myself in a fit of gratitude that I own a cosmetics company.

I meet with a producer and his associates about bringing my hypnosis stage show, “It’s All In your Mind” to a theater. All of a sudden, I feel wide awake.

Drink two bottles of Borba water that I have in my purse (yes, it’s a big handbag). It’s past my bedtime, but oh well! Everyone is really nice. We start conceptualizing immediately. Great ideas are flying all over the place.

I head back to my hotel and vacillate between excitement and exhaustion. I do a face plant in the pillow and sleep like a bear rug.
