It's no news that there seems to be an iTunes application for just about everything! I'm sure we all know at least one person who has gone app-crazy (ehem...my best friend!) and has pages and pages of apps on their iPhone that can do pretty much anything.

Seriously, long gone are the days of googling lyrics to find the name of a song on the radio or dare I say opening up your prehistoric yellow pages to find a good restaurant. iTunes apps are like having your own personal know-it-all pocket friend.

But just when I thought I'd seen every app out there, iSurgeon appeared and now your know-it-all pocket friend can actually show you what you would like like after having plastic surgery. Dr. Michael Salzhauer, a board-certified plastic surgeon and author of the children's book My Beautiful Mommy has developed an advanced beauty makeover application available on iTunes, that combines gaming with the ability to digitally modify your own appearance.

According to Dr. Salzhauer, "iSurgeon serves a dual purpose, providing those interested in cosmetic surgery treatments a visual of what they would look like post-surgery, while also providing a fun entertaining game tool."

The Game Mode of the app gives players a chance to enter the operating room and play plastic surgeon by altering the appearances of images in the game as they rack up points with each successful procedure. The Advanced Surgery Mode gets even more personal by allowing users to alter images of themselves!

Ever stand in the mirror and wonder what you'd look like with a nose job? Now, there's an app for that! You can even share your "post-surgery results" with your friends on Facebook through iSurgeon.

This actually sounds like alot of fun and it would definitely be more productive than standing in front of the mirror pulling your face back Joan Rivers-style.
