It's a beauty faux pas that has plagued many of us: Halfway through the workday, you catch a glimpse of yourself and are alarmed to see your eyeliner smudged all over your eyelids.

Eyeliner doesn't melt off of every girl. But if you're one of the lucky ladies who maintains so much eye moisture that you start looking like a raccoon when the afternoon coffee break rolls around, take note of these simple solutions!

First, reevaluate your daily eyeliner choice. Pencil eyeliner will stay on your lids longer. Gel, liquid, or pot liners have more of a liquid, jelly-like substance and are more susceptible to smudge along your eye crease.

Use an eyeshadow primer, like Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, to suck up your eye's moisture and create a base for the makeup.

As you apply your liner, aim to fill in your lashes right along and into the lash line instead of creating a line right above. It'll be harder for your liner to smudge if it's meshed with your actual lashes. Plus, the liner upon lash look will appear much more natural!
