Hey Baby, See the Shades from Gwen Stefani’s O.P.I. Nail Polish Collection Right Here

If you were OPI and wanted to create a nail polish collection inspired by the 2013 Met Gala theme, "Punk: Chaos to Couture," which fashionable celeb would you want to collaborate with? Obviously, No Doubt front woman and style icon Gwen Stefani, right? The woman is genius when it comes to her signature look. Who doesn't obsess over the platinum blonde's style the second she steps out with her equally stylish family?

Gwen is a hardcore working mom. Between balancing her music and fashion careers, you'd think she has enough on her plate. But she's dabbled in beauty before with her L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers fragrances, and her signature crimson lip and platinum hair also sparked a spokesperson deal with L'Oréal. It's quite obvious why OPI would choose Gwen to create a collection of nail lacquers. And, honestly, it's about time!

Gwen Stefani by OPI features seven unique, limited-edition shades. Love.Angel.Music.Baby. and 4 in the Morning leave a new, semi-matte satin finish (to be worn sans topcoat), while Push and Shove, a stand-out chrome, requires a complementing base coat, Lay Down that Base (which comes as a set!). One coat of Lay Down the Base under two thin coats of Push and Shove leaves a crazy-cool mirrored finish. The highlight of the collection is Over & Over A-Gwen, a hue inspired by her signature red pout. It comes in a box set featuring Swarovski black crystals, metallic studs and nail glue for when you're in the mood for some punk nail art. The line is rounded out with Hey Baby (a glossy hot pink), I Sing in Color (a vampy dark wine), and In True Stefani Fashion (a silver glitter).

Nail polish may not be as "hot" as lip colors this year, but if anyone were to make lacquers cool again, it's Gwen. The new collection will be available at professional salons and stores this month.
