A Gold Lipstick That’s Surprisingly Flattering
Experimenting with out of the ordinary lipstick hues is fun, but it tends to be something we do behind closed doors. One thing that I love about Lipstick Queen is that founder Poppy King always manages to convince me that a color I normally wouldn’t even deem flattering on anyone is actually the opposite. For example, the new Queen Bee lipstick is a brownish, honey color with gold glitter. Bet that doesn’t really sound appealing, huh?
Queen Bee is actually super pretty! It goes on very sheer but leaves a tint of a honey color and, of course, specks of gold glitter on your lips. It’s basically the prettiest version of the '90s brown lipstick trend without actually being a brown lipstick. It also looks even better layered on top of another lip color, giving it a luminous glow (kind of like a gradual tanning moisturizer amplifies your natural skin tone without staining your skin like a regular self tanner).
Not only that, but it also acts as a lip balm. Queen Bee is made with royal jelly and chamomile and sunflower extracts to replenish, soothe and heal chapped lips. Oh, and did I mention the glorious honey scent? So delicious.
