Lea Journo found major success in France before venturing to the States. At the age of 13 Lea made her humble start at a local salon sweeping up chopped locks, but by the time she was 17, Lea was the busiest stylist in the salon! Her innate talent led her to be chosen at the age of 21 to represent France at the international Festival du Cannes, "Mondiale de la Coiffure." Though she was the youngest hairdresser among the hundreds from around the world, she still won the grand prize. Since then, Lea's worked with designers like Gaultier and Yoshi Yamomoto and taught at L'Oreal. At 24 she opened her first salon Léa Saint Carl, which now has five locations around Paris. In June 2003, Lea took her skills stateside, opening the Léa Journo Salon at the Beverly Wilshire, and soon became the choice hair stylist for elite clients like Orlando Bloom, Kate Bosworth and even Brad Pitt.
