Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette is Rose Gold Magic

By Klaudia Tirico / November 26, 2013

Before I start writing about the new Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay, let me just disappoint everyone and say that, as of now, the long-awaited shadow set is sold out. #Bummer. But don't worry, the brand is working on restocking it ASAP. Moving on.

I'm not much of an eyeshadow person, which is why I am a huge fan of Urban Decay's Naked palettes. Nudes, golds, and other delicate neutrals are my go-tos when I actually decide to dust on some shadow. Not to mention, Urban Decay's eyeshadow formulas have outstanding color payoff and literally stick onto skin and stay on without a problem. Ever since I purchased the Alice in Wonderland palette years ago (remeber that gorgeous baby?), I have obsessed over the shadows and color combinations of every palette that followed.

There is really no surprise that Naked 3 sold out so quickly. The palette, which features 12 never-before-seen hues, proves that trilogies should always be given a chance. (Now that the Scream franchise has four movies, the Naked trilogy is my new favorite - har, har.) While Naked 1 highlighted luxe gold shadows and Naked 2 offered sensual taupes, Naked 3 brings us romantic rose golds, a color that I have yet to get sick of. From soft ballet pinks (Buzz) and metallic rose gold (Dust), to a smoky matte black with red glitter (Blackheart), the possibilities of this palette are endless. The shades, housed in rose gold, art-school-inspired tin, will take you from the office to holiday parties and back without a problem. It's that good.

Oh, and did I mention that the palette comes with a double-ended Good Karma Shadow and Blending Brush and a sample of UD's popular Eyeshadow Primer Potion? Yup.
