Amber Heard’s Modern French Twist is All Kinds of Pretty

I’m usually not the biggest fan of French twists. They just feel so outdated to me. I remember it being a go-to style for my ballroom dance competitions when I was younger, and I felt so matronly every time. So you can see why I wouldn’t agree with a hot young girl rocking the style for a night out. But Amber Heard’s messy take on the look is starting to make me believe that French twists can, in fact, look chic and modern. 

Hairstylist Adir Abergel created this wispy look for Heard for a Vogue dinner celebrating designer Giambattista Valli last night. Between the modern French Twist, stunning Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture frock and matching purple lip, Heard’s look was a grand slam. Best of the week in my opinion.
