Proenza Schouler Klaudia Tirico
Hair by Anthony Turner for Bumble and bumble.“We wanted to do something that didn’t feel too romantic or soft, still very cool with a strength to it. Its Cuba meets New York. The braid it pulled into a ponytail at the nape of the neck and then the braid is really strict. It has a sense of masculinity to it.”Photo by: Bumble and bumble -
J. Mendel Klaudia Tirico
Hair by James Pecis for Beauty.com using Phyto.“The hair reflects the SS16 collection which is light, airy and super-feminine.”Key product: PHYTO Phyto Professional Matte Texturizing Paste from root to ends to create separation.Photo by: Getty -
Gypsy Sport Klaudia Tirico
Hair by Bumble and bumble Global Artistic Director Laurent Philippon.“It’s about mixing the aesthetical codes. Doing a guy’s hair on a girl or doing a girl’s hair on a guy. The mix of culture and the mix of gender is something I always stood for. There’s definitely a message of peace and understanding in the collection, and that’s what I really love.”Photo by: Bumble and bumble -
Suno Klaudia Tirico
Hair by Odile Gilbert for Kenra Professional.“An unexpected twist on a classic look.”Key products: Kenra Platinum Texturizing Taffy was combed through the front of models hair to give a sleek look and prep for the headband. Kenra Platinum Working Spray was also used all over hair to create control.Photo by: Getty -
Thom Browne Klaudia Tirico
Hair by Jimmy Paul for Bumble and bumble.“I spoke to the Thom Browne team a while ago and they told me about the set for the show. The whole thing will be upside down, on the ceiling. The collection is based on uniforms and the models will have tradition ponytail, schoolgirl braids that will be sticking straight up.”Key products: Bumble and bumble Thickening Hairspray and Classic Hairspray.Photo by: Bumble and bumble -
Jeremy Scott Klaudia Tirico
Hair by Eugene Souleiman, Wella Professionals Global Creative Director.“He [Jeremy Scott] loves extremes and this is the biggest venue he’s ever shown in, so we needed the hair to reflect that scale and deliver high drama on the runway. Building on the late-50s-meets-80s Americana influence that Jeremy loves, we created a caricature of that classic John Waters look, with masses of graphic, structured volume at the roots, set off by incredibly soft and bouncy movement through the lengths.”Key product: Wella Professionals EIMI Stay Firm Hairspray in order to maintain a strong hold.Photo by: Wella -
Rag & Bone Klaudia Tirico
Hair by Paul Hanlon for Bumble and bumble.“Key references for this season’s collection were ‘military’, ‘sporty’ and ‘London.’”Photo by: Bumble and bumble -
Karen Walker Klaudia Tirico
Hair by Bumble and bumble Global Artistic Director Laurent Philippon.“I wanted to give the girls a boyish, military hairstyle. It’s rolled from one side and almost comes over the eye on one side. There’s an architecture to it but it’s still cool and effortless.”Key product: Bumble and bumble Does It All.Photo by: Bumble and bumble -
Public School Klaudia Tirico
Hair by Aveda Global Artistic Director Allen Ruiz.“The nomadic sensibility of the Public School Spring/Summer 2016 collection allowed for a beautiful yet resilient style. This is the girl everyone wants to be.”Key product: Aveda Smooth Infusion Nourishing Style Creme to eliminate flyaways.Photo by: Aveda -
Tanya Taylor Klaudia Tirico
Hair by Allen Wood for Bumble and bumble.“The hairstyle was inspired by desert textures and the uniformity of dress and hairstyling often seen in ancient tribes. This hair is a gritty, dirtied-up, twisted topknot with lots of texture and separation. The twisted effect adds a textural element while the "flicked" ends of the topknot have a graphic "Bird of Paradise" effect.”Photo by: Bumble and bumble
