Sophisticated Glam at Jason Wu Spring 2013

Considering that Michelle Obama is a regular client, it's no wonder the Jason Wu woman is all about strength and confidence. "He knows exactly what he wants," said lead stylist Odile Gilbert for Kerastase. "We wanted something very sophisticated, something masculine."

She created slicked back look that featured a french braided chignon in the back with one well defined finger wave to the side. "One side with a long part for the masculine, and then the other side has a wave to add the sophistication," Odile said. The key product was Kerastase Elixir Ultime Rose Millenaire to create the super shiny finish.

Diane Kendall for MAC created the bold lip that was in spired by Helmut Newton's provocative photography. "We used gold shimmer and dusted it across the eyelid up to the brows," Diane said. "There's a very thin black line along the lashes and eyebrows are kind of square. We used highlight on top of brown bone and cheekbones, and on the lips we've used two lips colors." She started off by filling in the lip with the Lip Pencil in Cherry and then used a new Lipstick shade Lady At Play as the base. She then used a blend of neon pigments pressed into the center of the lip. "It's really strong, sexy, quite glamorous," she said.
