Cara Delevingne Took the Temporary Tattoo Trend to the Next Level
By Wendy Rodewald-Sulz / May 5, 2015
Just when we thought our gilded Flash Tattoos made us look edgy, Cara Delevingne had to go and up the ante. For last night’s “China: Through the Looking Glass” Met Gala, the supermodel accessorized her black Stella McCartney jumpsuit with an epic drawn on piece by tattoo artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy. The NYC-based artist, who has tattooed Delevingne more than a dozen times (the lion’s head on her finger is his work), covered her arms, neck and shoulder with Chinese-inspired red blooms and birds using a custom blend of marker pigments, alcohol and oils with a temporary tattoo seal on top. The work took between 11 and 12 hours! Suddenly, we're craving some serious faux ink.
