Chanel Haute Couture Models Were So Moved by the Collection, They Cried Sequins

 

There were many things we loved about Chanel’s Haute Couture runway show yesterday. The iridescent sequin dress paired with sneakers. The lion’s mane headbands. But the most striking part — to our eyes, anyway — was the makeup. Models rocked a thick, inky cat eye paired with sparkling sequin “liner” and velvety complexions, all courtesy of lead artist Peter Philips. Now this is how grown-ups do glitter.
