Get the Look: Chloë Grace Moretz’ Bohemian Hair
By Klaudia Tirico / June 15, 2015
Keeping your hair off your face is so necessary in the summer, and Chloë Grace Moretz just displayed the easiest way to stay cool and chic all season long. While promoting her new flick The 5th Wave in Cancun, the young actress avoided a sweaty forehead with a 70s-inspired ‘do courtesy of hairstylist Gregory Russell. “Chloë’s Miu Miu look was giving me 70s vibes and I wanted to complete the look with an easy, natural textured style,” said Russell. Here’s how he created the super easy look that’s perfect for the beach, brunch and beyond.
Step 1: “Starting on wet hair, I applied Leonor Greyl Serum de Soi Sublimateur and Kevin Murphy Easy Rider.”
Step 2: “I sectioned a middle part and blew [her hair] out with a Harry Josh large round brush.”
Step 3: “I, then, used my Harry Josh flat iron to loosely wave her hair, sectioning in two-inch sections.
Step 4: “I took the front sections of her hair, twisted it back and adding more hair as I moved around the side of her head (like a French braid).”
Step 5: “I secured both sides together with a clear band, and then sprayed the lengths with R+Co Rockaway Salt Spray and Kevin Murphy’s Shimmer Shine.”
Step 6: “Once dried, I brushed through with my Shiela Stotts wire brush for a soft texture.”
