Clarisonic’s New Brush is a Bright Idea for Even-Toned Skin
By Wendy Rodewald-Sulz / August 20, 2014
If only you’d seen that magic sun damage camera viral video sooner. But nope, you spent the past eight weekends forgetting to reapply your SPF 30, and now you have a speckled complexion to show for it. Don’t worry, we’re in the same boat — but we’ve found a promising fix. Clarisonic has just launched its new Sonic Radiance Brightening Solution, a new brush head and three products that can make your complexion look clearer and brighter in as little as a week.
The new Radiance Brush Head features denser, softer filaments designed to work with the Skin Illuminating Cleanser, a gentle cleansing milk that includes pigment-balancing licorice extract. This launch also marks a major milestone for Clarisonic: the brand’s first-ever standalone skin treatment product that isn’t designed to be used with a device. The Brightening Activator Serum is meant to be used after cleansing day and night, and has ellagic acid and phenylethyl resorcinol to fight skin discoloration. Rounding out the collection is the Skin Renewing Peel Wash, a targeted nighttime cleanser with LHA, a proprietary acid made from salicylic and glycolic acids to help exfoliate and brighten skin.
The new products and brush head are sold as part of the Sonic Radiance Brightening Solution set with the Aria Cleansing Device for $249, as a Customization Set with just the brush head and products ($125), or as individual components. With a brighter complexion in the cards, fall has never looked so good.
