The look at Monique Lhuillier was all about a "very classic, Hollywood style," said Odile Gilbert for Kerastase. She created a long part and blow dried the hair back before curling sections and brushing them out to make a "flat wave." "It's a real, red carpet style because the collection is very elegant," she added. Her tools: a curling iron, Kerastase Double Force Hair Spray and her hands.
To add to the glamour, Val Garland for Mac Cosmetics was inspired by "Angela Lindvall on a Belgian catwalk in the early '90s." "The collection is very reflective with reds and blacks," said Val, "so I wanted to make the lip very matte to juxtapose with the shiny skin." She used a Cherry Red Pencil to line the lip and filled it in with Lady Danger Lipstick. To create the matte effect, she dusted Devil Blush over the lipstick. For the eyes, she applied Light Touch Pressed Pigment and lined the inside waterline with a cream pencil.
Over in nails, Wanda Ruiz for CND said Monique Lhuillier's collection was very "Eduardian inspired." She opted for a "well groomed manicure with a velvet finish." Wanda applied one coat of Stickey Base Coat, followed by one coat of Putty and one coat of Super Matte Top Coat to get the look.
