A DIY Bliss Spa Treatment

By Klaudia Tirico / July 19, 2011

It's definitely a treat to head over to your favorite spa for a body or facial treatment, but, for some, it's also a luxury expense. Now, Bliss is giving everyone a chance to experience a spa facial treatment in the comfort of their own bathroom with the new Fabulous Skin-Reviving Rubberizing Mask ($38).

You get six individually packaged, mix-them-yourself masks along with everything you need to create your own Bliss mask at home. I had my own spa day this weekend and fell in love with the fun DIY process. All you need to do is empty the contents from the packet into a mixing bowl, fill the measuring scoop (included) with water and add it to the bowl, mix it with the included spatula and immediately apply it on your face. Here’s what the mask should look like once it's mixed:

Once the mask is on your face, wait 15 to 20 minutes, or until it is rubberized (it literally feels like rubber!) and then carefully peel it off. Hint: Don't wait too long, though, or it will get really hard and messy to take it off. You'll notice your skin immediately looking and feeling refreshed; it even helps to even out tone and texture. Antioxidant ingredients bilberry and vitamin C also work to fight off free radicals. Use the mask once a week for a brighter and more vibrant complexion!
