Dowtown Chic at Tory Burch - NYFW Fall 2011
The makeup look at Tory Burch is what you'd expect from the socialite turned designer - very pretty and feminine! There wasn't much of a bold look, just a fab blowout mixed with natural looking makeup and nude nails.
Hair: Odile Gilbert for Kerastase
"The inspiration is the New York downtown girl," Odile said. "There's a middle part, natural hair - very healthy, beautiful hair." To get the look, Odile just said it's about getting a really good blowout with products to keep the hair looking healthy.
Makeup: Diane Kendall for MAC
Like the hair, the makeup look was pretty simple. "It was all about making the girls look beautiful and gorgeous," Diane said. "It's more about grooming and making sure the skin looks amazing." She used light foundation and focused on giving the girls a well contoured eye using a mix of brown and taupe shades with a cream blush for a natural looking glow. There was no mascara and just a touch of balm on the lips.
Nails: Sunshine Outing for Zoya
"The nail look is called Helen," Sunshine said. "It's a natural color, but not too natural that it doesn't show a color. It's like a browny pink, so it brings everything all together."
