Fake Nose Freckles & Cobalt Eyes at Lisa Perry Fall 2013
By Polly Blitzer / February 7, 2013
Revlon Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman created for Lisa Perry’s A/W ’13 presentation. Lisa’s vision was a modern girl’s take on 60s mod. I'm particularly intrigued by the deliberate smudginess of it all. The eyes remind me of how mine look after the first swipe of makeup remover when I get home at night. But in the sexiest way possible. And then the plot thickens. Fake freckles? Just on the nose? Genius, Gucci, genius. *applause*
Speaking of fake freckles, remember five shades of brown used during our Twiggy Halloween tutorial? Keri B. from MAC Cosmetics created more realistic freckles by varying the shades.
“I wanted something playful with strong references to the 1960s,” says Gucci, who used brights “to make it more contemporary.”
Gucci used the following Revlon products:
FACE:
Revlon PhotoReady Bronzer in Bronzed and Chic, $12.99. "I added freckles on the nose with a nude pencil.”
EYES:
Revlon ColorStay 16H Eyeshadow Quad in Free Spirit (available April 2013), $7.49
Revlon PhotoReady Primer and Shadow in Muse (available October 2013), $9.99
Revlon PhotoReady Kajal Intense Eyeliner + Brightener in Blue Nile (available June 2013), $8.99
Revlon Fantasy Lengths Maximum Wear Glue-On Lashes in Intensifying and Wispy (depending on model), $5.49
