Genius Idea: Nail Foundation
Like pantyhose, Band-Aids and (of course) makeup, no nail color is ever one-nude-fits-all. Choose the wrong shade? Your digits end up looking more sickly than statement-making.
This observation is the idea behind RGB's new collaboration with "green" celebrity nail artist Jenna Hipp. The Hipp x RGB Nail Foundation collection consists of lacquers concocted to flatter a range of skin tones.
The 5-free polishes (no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin or camphor, if you’re keeping track) come in four shades: F1 Very Fair to Light, F2 Light to Medium, F3 Medium to Warm and F4 Dark to Deep Dark ($16 each). But that doesn't mean you have to get matchy-matchy. Jenna and RGB Cosmetics founder Gina Carney are touting F4, the darkest polish, as the standout shade for any skin tone, since the deep brown is a warmer alternative to fall's dark navies and blacks.
Around the office, we’ve come to love RGB’s well-considered shades, on-point formulas and easy-to-use short brushes. So we’re pretty sure this collection is going to be a hit. Get it now at rgbcosmetics.com.
