"It's definitely a look for the confident woman of today, and looks as strong on shorter lengths as long," said lead stylist Orlando Pita of Orlo Salon for Moroccanoil. Instead of using a barrette or pin to hold the hair in place, he used Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong to create a fluid look in the hair.
First he started of With Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse (out in October) and blowdried the hair straight with the Moroccanoil Ionic Ceramic Brush. "To create the designed effect at the top," Orlando said, "I started by taking graduated horizontal half-inch sections starting at the crown. I sprayed each with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong. I then smoothed, directed and shaped the hair. Finally sprayed the entire look with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong." For the finishing touch, he misted the crown with Moroccanoil Frizz Control for an extra sleek finish.
