Headscarves are a summer staple for good reason: they amp up any type of outfit, tame hair while riding with the top down or walking on a windy beach and protect strands and scalp from sun damage. Here, we show you three different (all super-easy) ways to tie your scarf. How you wear it is up to you!

Look 1: Turband Klaudia Tirico
Wear this turban-headband hybrid with your hair down, pulled back in a ponytail or up in a topknot. The variations are endless.

Turband: Step 3 Klaudia Tirico
Fold the top down again, then take the bottom and fold it up. Continue folding until one end lays on top of the other. The scarf should be about three to four inches wide.

Turband: Step 4 Klaudia Tirico
Fold in half at a diagonal. This will create a U-shape and make the band form to your head better.

Place the scarf at the nape of your neck right where you made the diagonal fold. Bring the two ends up to the crown.

Look 3: The Housewife Klaudia Tirico
This look, like the others, works with either long or short hair. If your locks are long, pin hair up so the scarf covers your entire mane with no stray pieces.
