Get the Look: How to Play Up Your Piercing Eyes

It Girl DJ Leigh Lezark is known for her steely gaze, but it’s not just her genetic jackpot blue-green irises that make her eyes stand out. Last night at the 2014 Fragrance Foundation Awards, Lezark showed up with a perfectly executed soft smoky eye, courtesy of makeup artist Kristin Gallegos. “We went for a smoky eye but a bit understated - not too strong,” Gallegos said. “Leigh has piercing eyes, so I enhanced them with browns and blacks, and kept her lip natural. I also wanted to emphasize her beautiful skin and brows.” Here’s a full breakdown of how she created the look.
