The Flower Crown Gets Supersized for Fashion Week

 

Flower crowns? Try floral arrangements. Models at a few Spring ’15 shows were bedecked with full-on bouquets. 

 

For Kaelen’s tropical-themed presentation, models sported a hair clip with a cascade of fresh white orchids. Hair stylist Amy Farid used Oribe Volumista Mist for Volume ($39) to give the girls a blowout with texture that evoked “how Marcia Brady would brush her hair 100 times before bed.”

 

Not only did Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima walk Desigual’s runway, she did it while wearing a Frida Kahlo-style halo of vibrant blooms.

 

But the biggest (literally) statement of all may have been this foliage headdress we spotted at the presentation for Arden Wohl’s shoe collection with Cri de Coeur. Hair stylist Nate Rosenkranz drew inspiration from Polynesian style, creating effortless waves using Alterna Haircare Caviar Perfect Texture Finishing Spray ($28).
