Models Off Duty Inspired the Look at Rebecca Taylor - Fall 2012
"The inspiration is about the modern girl," said designer Rebecca Taylor. "We wanted our girls to look like how the models comes into a showroom or a walking or a go see. She just looks very modern and very cool."

The downtown look translated to a rougher than usual Rebecca Taylor look. "We're getting that edge by adding a faux fringe that will be covering one of her eyes," said Kelsey Osterman, one of the hair stylists.
The look was created by Dai Michishita for Cutler for Redken Salon. The fringe is cut with a razor for a raw finish while the back of the hair has a natural dry texture that's effortlessly twisted in the back. There's also a cornrow to secure the hair behind the ear to reveal jewelry up the ear.
Sil Bruinsma for MAC created the makeup look, which focused on pale skin, bold brows and a touch of kohl on the inner and outer corners of the eye. The lips were toned down with a little foundation and the cheeks were contoured with a taupey creme.
