The Gnarly Whale Klaudia Tirico
The Gnarly Whale founders, Ashley and Nathan Griffith, took their love of the ocean and turned it into something great. The brand that started as a small Etsy shop is made with minimal, vegan ingredients and housed in reusable packaging. The Gnarly Whale collection includes hair and body care, with products like the Beach Waves Spray, Green Tea Facial Toner, Beard Oil and Face & Body Scrub – all available in over 70 scents. And there’s nothing gnarly about them, either. Choose from unique cocktails like Chamomile and Rose (our favorite), Coconut Lime Verbena and Twigs & Berries. Additionally, the brand will donate 10 percent of profits to causes like Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Earth Justice. -
Fig+Yarrow Klaudia Tirico
This artisanal line of handcrafted, organic face and body products is the result of Brandy Monique’s, apothecary artisan and founder of Fig+Yarrow, love of botanicals and earth elements. The brand hails from Denver, Colorado and includes everything from bath and body oils and facial mists, to hair and scalp tonics and oral hygiene products (tooth powder, anyone?). Everything is made with organic and raw ingredients and is housed in really cool packaging with an Aesop feel. -
Herbivore Botanicals Klaudia Tirico
Seattle-based skin, hair and body brand Herbivore Botanicals proves that natural and effective skincare can be mutually exclusive. Each product in the line is made with 100 percent natural and vegan ingredients, plant-based food grade cold pressed oils, GMO-free soy wax, high-quality therapeutic grade essential oils and housed in recyclable packaging (glass, not plastic). The brand’s co-founder Julia Willis studied herbs, aromatherapy and Chinese medicine, so she knows a thing or two about natural health. The range includes bamboo charcoal skincare, blue and pink clay masks, and Dead Sea bath salts. -
Grown Alchemist Klaudia Tirico
Here’s another brand that believes good skin doesn’t have to come from harmful chemicals. Grown Alchemist is made up of teams of cosmetic chemists in London, Paris and Australia to bring us uniquely natural formulas that actually work. Housed in cool, black packaging, the brand includes treatments for every part of your face, every concern and all skin conditions. They even boast an array of body and hair care products. You’ll find formulas with collagen and elastin boosting actives, advanced peptides, hyaluronic acid and powerful antioxidants. Read more about their extensive scientific philosophy here. -
Indie Lee Klaudia Tirico
Indie Lee once battled a life-threatening tumor that was the result of environmental toxins. Scary, right? This inspired her to created her own line of cosmetics with “green glamour.” Then, Indie Lee (the brand) was born. Indie Lee products are made with only the finest all-natural ingredients from around the globe, ranging from anti-aging and blemish-fighting skincare, to hydrating body care. We’re especially fond of the delicious scents.
