Rosamund Pike Klaudia Tirico
Rosamund Pike’s Oscar prep began a few days before the big show. She paid a visit to celebrity aesthetician Crystal Lynn Mattison for a Sisley facial using the Gentle Buffing Facial Cream to fix impurities and remove dead skin without irritating the complexion, and the Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask to reenergize the skin.On the day of, makeup artist Melanie Inglessis gave Pike her own mini Sisley facial. “I started with Sisley Sisleya Essential Skincare Lotion to clean and tone the face. Followed with an all over Sisley Floral Spray Mist to invigorate and freshen up the skin,” she said. “Whilst the skin was still a little damp, I applied Sisley Hydra Global for a long hydrating effect and also a matte finish. I applied a thick layer of Sisley Eye Contour Mask under the eyes which I like to leave on for about 10 minutes; it reduces under eye puffiness and helps brighten the look. I remove it gently with a wet tissue. Finally, a thick layer of Sisley Nutritive Lip Balm is applied to the lips/ I left it on until it’s time to do the lips. Once I removed excess Eye Mask, I glided on Sisley Phyto Cernes Eclat under the eyes. The metal massage tip has a cooling effect and helped reduce any puffiness whilst covering any dark circles.” -
Marion Cotillard Klaudia Tirico
Marion Cotillard’s makeup artist for the night, Christophe Danchaud, relied on a trio of Baszicare products to keep the star’s look fresh. First, he spritzed Cotillard’s face with Baszicare Roseus Hydrating Floral Toner to refresh and brighten the complexion. Then, he “created a smooth palette for makeup application by massaging the entire face with Baszicare’s Lucem Smoothing Cream Intensive.” He finished it off with some Astra Eye Contour Cream to “keep her eye area bright and defined.” -
Sienna Miller Klaudia Tirico
You know you’re in great hands when your makeup artist has her own skincare and makeup line, right? On Sienna Miller, Charlotte Tilbury used her new Goddess Skin Clay Mask, which she says, “is the key to shrinking pores and tightening the skin, leaving you with a perfectly dewy, plumped and revived red carpet glow.” Tilbury also used her cult Magic Cream, a.k.a. Tilbury’s “secret to red carpet skin,” followed by a layer of her Wonderglow to create a soft-focus that’s “amazing for HD TV.” -
Jessica Chastain Klaudia Tirico
Jessica Chastain’s skin is already flawless, but according to her makeup artist Kristofer Buckle, “all makeup application needs a great base.” He started by prepping Chastain’s skin with Kiehl's Hydro Plumping Re-texturizing Serum. “It works wonders as a primer and is extremely moisturizing,” he added. Then, he followed with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream and Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado before applying the makeup. -
Reese Witherspoon Klaudia Tirico
Reese Witherspoon’s makeup was nude and natural, all the better to showcase her great skin. Makeup artist Molly R. Stern “massaged RéVive Intensité Moisture Serum Extrême Complete Hydration to recharge Witherspoon’s face and give it a boost of extra hydration.” Then, she used RéVive Intensité Crème Lustre Day Firming Moisture Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen “to give the skin a dewy luminosity.” -
Neil Patrick Harris Klaudia Tirico
If you thought the men don’t get as much red carpet prep time as the women, think again. The host of the night, Neil Patrick Harris showed a lot more skin than we could have imagined last night, so he relied on celebrity groomer Sonia Lee to make sure he looked great on the red carpet and on stage in his tighty whities.“Before we started, I had Neil cleanse his face with Montez Renault Facial Cleanser,” she said. “Then, I began by applying Tom Ford Anti-Fatigue Eye Treatment around the eye contour. Next, I applied Montez Renault Facial Moisturizer on his skin with a foundation brush. I used the brush so it ensures an even application."I went back over his t-zone with Murad Face Mattifier to tamp down any shine and make sure he was camera ready. To finish off, I applied Montez Renault Moisturizing Body Lotion to his arms, hands, everywhere to keep his skin looking moisturized and healthy.”
