Vintage hair styles can often look, well, outdated. But Jeanie Syfu for Tresemme proved that you can create a retro style that feels very wearable and less Dita von Teese. She calls it a "one roll combover."
"This is amazing texture, which keeps it modern and romantic," Jeanie said. "We're using the chopsticks to keep the roll really tight. And then we're just pinning them at the base with bobby pins. It has a cool windblown thing happening across the forehead, and some are wearing hats so it'll look cool with a roll on one side."
To create the texture, the stylists are drying the hair with mousse and just using their fingers. Next they set the hair with Curl Activator Spray by gathering the hair in a fist, pinning it and setting it with a flat iron.
