Your Runway-Approved Guide to Music Festival Beauty Klaudia Tirico
Your Instagram feed and email inbox are most likely being flooded with festival-inspired looks, sales, giveaways, etc as we speak. It’s that time of year again, folks. If you’re lucky enough to have scored tickets to one or more of this year’s mega music fests, you’ve probably already got your hands on that epic backpack or pinned every flower crown tutorial you can find. But why go the obvious route with a floral halo when you can recreate some of the hottest runway looks from 2015? We’re talking Givenchy nose rings, Marc by Marc Jacobs hair knots and more not-so-street-friendly looks that would be perfect (and totally acceptable) at Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Ultra Music Festival. Your complete music festival beauty guide is a click away.

Face Decor: Tommy Hilfiger Stars Klaudia Tirico
Because where else is it acceptable to put stars all over your face (and body) besides a festival? Kendall Jenner ain’t got nothing on you, girl. -

Face Decor: Anna Sui’s Tribal Tats Klaudia Tirico
Take this time to have some fun with your makeup, even if it means drawing on your face. Pat McGrath made great use of a brown eye pencil when she drew Inuit-inspired markings on the models at Anna Sui Fall 2015. Hint: use tape to get even lines! -

Face Decor: Givenchy Bling Klaudia Tirico
No, we're not telling you to start putting holes in your face, but it’s fun to channel someone else for a day. Givenchy may have gone a tad overboard with the bling, so start with a painless piercing to add some cool factor to your look instead. Who knows, maybe you’ll end up getting the real thing, you little rebel you. -

Hair Flair: Libertine’s Pink Parts Klaudia Tirico
While we don’t suggest the “panda eye” look for a hot festival outing, the pink parts at Libertine Fall 2015 are so much cooler than a flower crown. Start with DGAF hair (it’s a festival, skip the blowout), part your hair however you’d like and, using a thin brush, apply a mixture of MAC Pigment (the color choices are endless) and some talc. If there is one place this look will be accepted, it’s a music festival. -

Hair Flair: Honor’s Metallic Headbands Klaudia Tirico
What’s a cooler way to keep your hair off your face than with a space-age headband like the ones at Honor’s Fall 2015 show? -

Liner Envy: Mugler’s Triple-Lined Eyes Klaudia Tirico
Leave the cat eye for brunch and take your festival look up a notch with a graphic lined eye. Because three wings are better than one, add an extra line at the crease and on the lower lash line as seen on the models at Mugler’s Fall 2015 show. Opt for a waterproof formula to ensure a long-lasting flick. -

Liner Envy: Anthony Vaccarello’s V-liner Klaudia Tirico
Want to take your eyeliner even further? Copy the cool backwards square root symbol from Anthony Vaccarello’s Fall 2015 show right at the bottom outer corner of your eye. Anything goes during festival season. Again, use a long-wearing, waterproof formula to make sure your lines don’t smudge while you’re jamming out to Florence and the Machine. Gel formulas work best when trying to create straight lines. -

Hot Day Hair: Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Mohawk Knots Klaudia Tirico
Between the sun blazing in the desert and dancing like no one’s watching, it’s bound to be hot and sweaty weekend. But don’t just throw your hair in a ponytail, try a funky mohawk made of hair knots à la Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2015. Hairstylist Guido Palau used finishing spray to get a roughed up texture and Evian water to make the flyaways look sweaty. But you won’t need to do the latter after a round at the silent disco. -

Hot Day Hair: DKNY’s Pigtails Klaudia Tirico
Pigtails are probably the best option for a weekend festival. Think about it, you keep them in for the entire first day and night (bonus points if you show off your baby hairs and wear a zig zag part like the girls at DKNY), then on day two, you take them out and rock sexy waves with a pink Libertine part. Done and done. -

Accessorize: Coach Bandanas Klaudia Tirico
Bandanas are in the forecast to be huge for fall, but they’ll also come in handy at festivals this season. They look chic around the neck (as seen at Coach Fall 2015), as a hair accessory and even double as a mini blanket for you to rest your tush on the grass. -

Accessorize: Balenciaga Croakies Klaudia Tirico
No one wants to lose their sunnies on a bright and sunny day no matter where they are. And since you’re bound to jump around a bit at your festival of choice, it might be a good idea to get a sunglasses strap to keep them safe. Maybe not as flashy (or expensive) as the Balenciaga ones, but you get the gist. -

Accessorize: A Détacher Visors Klaudia Tirico
The entire look at A Détacher Spring 2015 practically screams festival. First, the face confetti on fleek; second, the insanely awesome leather visors worn backwards. Those visors will come in handy just in case you forget to reapply sunscreen (but try not to). -
