Sally Beauty Reveals “Best Tressed” Survey Polls for 2012

Every year for the past 19 years, Sally Beauty Supply surveys 1,000 women to get the best and worst beauty scoop of the year. They get all the hairy details, from best and worst celebrity hair; to the top nail shapes and art. Here are some of the highlights of the 2012 results: 

Hair:

Best female celebrity hair: Kate Middleton at 41.2%

Worst female celebrity hair: Snooki at 39.3%

Best male celebrity hair: Brad Pitt at 33.2%

Worst male celebrity hair: The cast of Duck Dynasty at 47.7%

Favorite hair trend: Braids at 30.9%

Most coveted hair change: Texture at 39.1%

Top styling appliance: Blow dryer at 58.1%

Nails:

Go-to nail color: Pale pink at 43.9%

Favorite nail art trend: Rhinestones and glitter at 38%

Favorite nail shape: Oval at 44.4%

Do you polish toes in the winter? 49.2% said No.
