Bianco di Carrara Wendy Rodewald-Sulz
Perfumer Lucas Sieuzac created this fragrance as an ode to Tuscany’s native stone, Carrara marble, which is sourced from the region’s northernmost tip and has been used in sculpture and architecture throughout the ages. The olfactory interpretation is as pure and elegant as the stone, with fresh opening notes of neroli and white pepper, heart notes of white vetiver and fig milk, and a base of tonka beans and velvety white musk.$190 at Saks Fifth AvenuePhoto by: Getty Images; design by Taylor Cox -
Vendemmia Wendy Rodewald-Sulz
An ode to the wine region’s grape harvest, this woody floral scent from perfumer Fabrice Pellegin captures the warmth and richness of the tradition which dates back thousands of years. Its blend of Mediterranean fruits and sensual woods combined with fig leaves, jasmine flower and sandalwood is multifaceted and intense.$190 at Saks Fifth AvenuePhoto by: Getty Images; design by Taylor Cox -
Viola Essenziale Wendy Rodewald-Sulz
Florence isn’t just home to the most famous iris garden in Italy, the Giardino dell’Iris. The city also uses the flower as its iconic symbol, in the form of a fleur-de-lis based on the native white iris. Catherine de Medici, the Florentine noblewoman who lived during the Renaissance, was one of the flower’s greatest admirers. Perfumer Sonia Constant has imbued this floral chypre musk with this rich history, using notes of the absolute iris, fruity hints and delicate floral notes.$190 at Saks Fifth AvenuePhoto by: Getty Images; design by Taylor Cox -
Convivio Wendy Rodewald-Sulz
“Convivio” means feast or banquet in Italian — an appropriate name for this fragrance meant to evoke the Tuscan spirit of gathering together to celebrate sharing and abundance. Fabrice Pellegrin used notes of fresh grapefruit, delicate jasmine flower and cypress wood to construct this citrus green spicy scent, which closes with a sensual blend of cashmere wood and ambroxan.$190 at Saks Fifth AvenuePhoto by: Getty Images; design by Taylor Cox
