Sneak Peek: Printemps Précieux de Chanel Spring 2013
With all this holiday hoopla, we figured we'd treat you to something to look forward to once all the craziness simmers down. And not just any old something... Chanel! The brand's spring makeup collection, dubbed Printemps Précieux in honor of "the precious beauty of spring," includes stunning neutrals and sweet pinks that are just about perfect for any one whose heart beats for those interlocking Cs. There is something so feminine and so Chanel about a neutral eye, glowing skin, and soft pink accents that we wouldn't want our spring look any other way.
The highlight of the collection is the limited-edition Poudre Signee de Chanel Illuminating Powder ($68). The embossed, peachy-beige powder adds a radiant veil on the skin for a naturally glowing complexion. Pair it with a neutral eye using Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow palette in Raffinement ($59), which features rich mauve, pearly pink beige, shimmering lilac, and deep egglant eye shadows. The collection also features new soft brown, lilac, and rosy beige shades of Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner ($30); a new apricot shade of Joues Contraste Powder Blush ($43); new copper brown, soft rose, and peach shades of Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Color ($34), and new classic pink, brown, and pink-red shades of Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27). Everything will be available in January 2013 at Chanel and department stores, and Chanel.com - the perfect time to start stocking up on the coming season's necessities.
