L'Oréal Paris Magic Smooth Soufflé Blush in Celestial, $12.95. This blendable silicone-based blush gives an effect that’s somewhere between powder and cream, and each of the shades in the four-color range is spot-on.
Cetaphil Dermacontrol Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30, $16.99. Finally! A high-SPF moisturizer that controls shine, too. I’m not sure why it’s been so hard to hunt down a product that covers all my bases, but I’m glad I found it - and just in time for sunnier days.
Aveeno Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Body Cream, $8.99. As the humidity rises, the last thing I want to use on my limbs is slimy moisturizer. I’m obsessed with this silky, not-even-a-little-bit greasy body lotion.
Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie, $7.49. This saturated magenta looks gorgeous on everyone and feels more spring-suitable than red. They weren’t kidding when they named this stuff “butter” - its texture is ace.
Kiss My Face Green Tea & Bamboo Moisture Shave, $7.95. With the consistency of shampoo, this moisturizes skin and foams into a slippery lather that makes my razor glide like greased lightning. And the faintly herbal scent is a sophisticated alternative to sweet fruity fragrances.

Crane Ultrasonic Elephant Humidifier, $39.99. My inner child loves this adorable humidifier, and the educated adult side of me loves it for its beautifying benefits. I use this at night to fend off dry skin and occasional eczema breakouts.
John Frieda Loose Curls 1.25-inch Curling Iron, $26.99. I've tried countless styling tools, and this curling iron rivals more expensive models with its sleek design and amazing performance.
Dead Sea Essentials Chamomile Mud Mask, $15.49. I love a good mud mask in the summer to soak up all the grossness lingering on my complexion. This unscented one has mud sourced from the mineral-rich Dead Sea, plus chamomile to soothe sensitive skin and reduce redness.
Prabal Gurung for Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Sweet Marble Floret, $9.99. Two prints from Prabal Gurung's Spring 2012 collection are making an appearance in these limited-edition nail art designs. This one looks almost like splattered paint and has a metallic finish.
Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Fairytale, $6.99. I love a good pink lipstick, and this budget-friendly tube is opaque and full of pigment - perfect for recreating the bright pouts we saw on the Spring 2012 runways.

Pantene Silver Expressions Shampoo and Conditioner, $5.99 each. Sun, chlorine and salt water tend to turn my color yellow and dull, so I use this duo to save my hair from the elements and add shine. Plus, I get a kick out of telling people I use products for gray hair.
Olay Soothing Cucumber Moisturizing Body Wash, $4.99. I’m too lazy to apply body lotion, so a creamy body wash with moisturizing benefits is a must. The soft, cucumber scent reminds me of a fresh veggie garden.
Rimmel London Volume Flash Scandaleyes Mascara, $6.99. I tested this mascara on a recent hot and humid weekend in New Orleans. Its massive wand adds volume and length without clumps, and the formula stays put without melting off.
Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil, $7.99. Once I started filling in my brows, there was no going back. I love this dual-ended pencil/comb combo. The blonde shade matches my brows perfectly.
Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets, $5.49. My friend got me hooked on oil absorbing sheets. Now I take them everywhere. These are ideal for getting rid of excess shine without messing up my makeup or having to cake on the powder.

Covergirl and Olay Simply Ageless Concealer, $11.99. I love this concealer because it completely diminishes my under-eye circles and doesn't budge all day.
Dove Style & Care: Strength & Shine Flexible Hold Hairspray, $4.89. I find that many "flexible" hairsprays give me little to no hold, but this one has just the right amount of control to keep frizz at bay.
Physicians Formula: Custom Eye Enhancing Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Trio, $10.95. I use this super-pigmented liner when I really want my eyes to stand out. The blue, green and purple shades add a pretty pop of color for spring.
Almay Smart Shade Perfect and Correct Primer, $13.99. This primer brightens and evens out skin tone, which is one of my main beauty concerns come sunny days.
