The Body Shop Just Launched the Ultimate Healthy Manicure
By Klaudia Tirico / October 20, 2014

If you thought nail polish couldn’t get better than 5-free, think again. The Body Shop, leader in all things eco, just launched a collection of 24 nail polish shades (including the signature Body Shop green) that are more than free of all toxic compounds.
The brand’s Colour Crush Nail Polish ($8 each) is 100 percent vegan and enriched with Community Fair Trade marula oil, which is essential for strengthening brittle nails. You can’t get a healthier nail polish than that. All 24 shades were inspired by nature and dry faster than any other polish we’ve used. Of course, you can speed up the process a bit more with the new Top & Base Coat ($8), a quick-drying, 100 percent vegan clear coat that’s made with the same Community Fair Trade marula oil.
But you also need something to take it off, right? Look no further than The Body Shop’s new Sweet Almond Oil Nail Polish Remover ($10). This gentle, acetone-free formula is infused with sweet almond, soya oil and Community Fair Trade sugarcane essence, making it a seriously good-for-nails remover that softens cuticles without drying them out. Round it out with a gentle acrylic nail file ($8) and double-ended nail art tool ($8), and The Body Shop is officially your new spot for great (and super cheap) DIY manicures.
