We're Craving Claire Foy's "Smudgy, Cool-Girl Eye"

For the 34th Santa Barbara International Film Festival, makeup artist Georgie Eisdell used Dior Beauty to create Claire Foy's "smudgy, sexy, cool-girl eye" look. "My inspiration for Claire's look came from her gorgeous Dior down. It was so delicate, we wanted to create a more dramatic makeup look," Georgie said.

The Skin Look

Georgie created Claire's creamy, luminous complexion using a combination of Dior Capture Totale DreamSkin Advanced, followed by Dior Capture Youth Age-Delay Advanced Creme to prep Claire's skin for makeup. To even out Claire's skintone, Georgie applied Dior Forever Skin Glow in #1N. She added DiorSkin Nude Luminizer Lolli'Glow #008 Pink Delight to the cheekbones "for a little illumination."

The Eye Look

Georgie shaped Claire's brows using DiorShow Brow Styler #001 Universal Brown. "I extended them slightly to really up the eyes." Next, Georgie lined the eyes with DiorShow On Stage Liner #091 Matte Black. She created a smoked-out eye using the bronze shade from the Dior 5 Couleurs Lolli'Glow #257 Sugar Shade and swirled it out using a shadow brush. She added depth to the eye with a deeper shade (the matte charcoal shade from Dior Backstage Eye Palette #001 Warm Neutrals) and topped her lashes with two coats of DiorShow Mascara #090 Pro Black.
